The newly redesigned SR505 Triad Silent Strainer manages the three onboard snare assemblies with silent ease. The strainer features tension-adjustment knobs for each snare and a global knob for the overall master tension. Pearl’s Captive Adjustment Touchpoints system brings significant improvement to the SR505 for easy micro-adjustments to tension and easy tuning repeatability from one rehearsal to the next. Plus, the new full, wrap-around guitar wire snare assemblies borrowed from Pearl’s iconic PHP1325 Pancake snare drum facilitate stunning sensitivity and tonal expression that's supple and responsive to your dynamics.





Quick-release mounting system for easy adjustments





Maintaining a Philharmonic drum is incredibly simple. Pearl’s new quick-release mounting system maintains your precise individual snare adjustments across all three assemblies, even while you’re replacing snare heads. The result? Faster maintenance and repairs with more time to rehearse and perform. Wire changes on a Philharmonic drum are also a breeze: just loosen the adjuster and one drum key rod, then insert your new wire, tighten the hardware, and that’s a wrap!
